序文		 前代未聞のアノマリーがシャドウ=シティのあちこちで見つかった。いつものありふれた場所が危険の巣窟になってしまったのだ、その周辺区域と路地は凶悪な罠の宝庫になっている。レッドローズに閉じ込められた、見知らぬブロンド女性が現れたことと関係しているのだろうか？原因を究明しなければならない！シティのアノマリー全てを狂わせてしまうとは、彼女は一体どんな力を持っているというのだろうか？ blonde: blondの女性形。金髪を指すことが多いが、黄色くなくてもblondeという。イザベルのは正確に言えばplatinum blonde(プラチナブロンド、銀髪)

In the short message that the girl managed to pass, she says that she is held somewhere by force and that the gargoyles are involved in her disappearance.

バレリー		 もう何も言わないわ…。ねえ、夢じゃないわよね。とある「エンジニア」がこの石像に魔法の心臓を入れたって誰かが言ってたの。という事は誰かが助けを求めていて、それを他の人たちに知らせようとしてたのが聞こえてきたのかもしれないわ。つまり誰かがガーゴイルたちに、どこだかに閉じ込められてるって事？ the Engineer: 前振りもなくいきなり固有名称として「エンジニア」登場。
💬ちょいちょい登場するPuppeteer 人形師ではないんですかね？出来そうですけど。
These stone gargoyles aren't very talkative or at all shy. They just flew away from us and didn't agree to help. But one of them stopped and beckoned us to follow. It led us to the Red Rose Café, grimacing and wheezing terribly. If it could talk, everything would be simpler. この石のガーゴイルってちっともお喋りが好きじゃないのか、すごい恥ずかしがり屋なのかしらね。すぐに私たちから飛んで逃げちゃって、手を貸そうとは言ってくれなかったわ。でも一匹立ち止まって、付いてくるように手招きしてたのがいたでしょ。怖い顔して、シューシュー恐ろしい息を吐きながら、私たちをレッドローズカフェに誘導してたんだわ。話が出来たなら、もっと簡単に事が済んだのに。 💬なぜガーゴイルが協力してくれるんだろう？一匹いいガーゴイルがいるのかな？

バレリー		 カフェで何か恐ろしいことが起きてるんだわ！ううん、あそこに行っちゃダメよ、中で何が起きてるのか覗いてみたでしょ！モノがあちこち飛び回って、カウンターが上下逆さまになってて、カップボードが天井近くの宙に浮いてて…。あれ、聞こえた？誰かが叫び声をあげてるの！きっとあの娘は中にいて、スピリットたちのせいで逃げられないんだわ！スピリットが好き放題してるこの状態は彼女のせいだったら？私たちが見たのは全く未知のアノマリーよ！マーサにアドバイスを頼みましょう。まだそのくらいの時間はあるでしょ？ enough: 必要分ぴったりかそれ以上の量。なので状況によっては、～できるギリギリの量の意味になる。この場合も時間はないけどそのくらいならギリギリなんとかなるでしょ？の意味
Martha's nowhere around. A note on the table reads: " Meditating in the astral realms. Interrupt only if the end of days imminent." Oh, no! She can't help us. マーサは何処にもいないわ。テーブルにメモがある、「精神世界にて瞑想中。呼び戻すなら、終焉の日が迫り来る時にのみ。」ですって。あああ、だめだわ！彼女は助けてくれそうにもない。 end of days：終焉の日、世界の終りの日

We're not experts on ghosts or magic, even though I know a little about love spells. The Detective once told me the Collector studied these phenomena in detail. There should be records in his house - maybe we can find some information there. Valerie

Look what I've found! It'd be useful if I could make out the handwriting... Remember those objects floating upside down in the café? Look at this: "A Poltergeist is one of the most powerful and evil spirits; wherever it appears, a real hell begins. Poltergeists can easily move objects, regardless of their weight, and can even upend a man." This is a Poltergeist, but how do we deal with it? 私が見付けたこれを見て！私に筆跡が鑑定が出来たら良かったのに…。カフェの中でモノが上下ひっくり返ってたの覚えてる？ここを見て、「ポルターガイストは最も強力で邪悪なスピリットの一つである、それが現れるところはどこであれ、正に地獄の光景が繰り広げられることになる。ポルターガイストはその重さに関わらず、いとも容易(たやす)く物を動かし、人を逆さづりにすることさえ可能である。」あれはポルターガイストなんだわ、でもどうやったらアレをどうにかできるわけ？ 💬バレリーはそれっぽい文書を見つけたものの、コレクターの書いたものなのかが分からないため、筆跡鑑定ができたらとか言ってるんでしょうね。でも、コレクターの筆跡がそもそも分からないと意味ないよね？

The girl in the Café? How do you know about her? You always show up when something's happening... Not only is that girl in danger, but the whole City is alive with otherworldly forces - Poltergeist, according to the records. By the way, I'm taking them for further study. Also, there's valuable data in the Collector's Room. To get it, I need items affected by the Poltergeist

刑事		 カフェに女の子がいる？どうしてその娘の事を知ってるんだ？お前はいつも何事か起きる時に現れやがるな…。その娘が危ないってだけじゃない、シティ全体がこの世のモノとは思えない力で溢れかえってるんだぜ－ポルターガイストってヤツだな、その記録によれば、だ。記録とい言やあ、コイツはもっと踏み込んだ研究だと俺は睨んでる。つまり、コレクターの家になら使えるデータがあるはずだ。そいつを手に入れて、ポルターガイストに効果のあるアイテムが欲しい所だな by the way: 直前の話に関連して、話が逸れる時に使う。

💬刑事は女の子の事を別ルートで把握してたみたいですね。で、同じくコレクターの研究データの中にならそれに関するものがあるはずだと思って来てみて、主人公たちと鉢合わせ、という状況の様です。まあ、バレリーの情報が元々刑事から仕入れた情報ですもんね。

Gargoyles point me to the Red Rose Café. Judging by the terrible noises, a Poltergeist is raging inside. It is the most powerful of the City's anomalies. If the lost girl is inside the café, she is in great danger.

第二章		 ガーゴイルはレッドローズカフェに行けと指さした。恐ろしい騒音から判断するに、ポルターガイストが中で猛威を振るっている。ポルターガイストはシティのアノマリーの中で最も強力だ。行方不明の女性がカフェの中にいるのなら、彼女にはとてつもない危険が迫っている。

刑事		 ポルターガイストがカフェで猛威を振るってやがる。ヤツは全てをひっくり返す凶悪なアノマリーだ。ふつうの人間にはコイツをどうにかするってのはキツイぜ。ポルターガイストの影響を受けたアイテムを持って来てくれ、そうすりゃ倒し方も分かるかもしれん。急げよ！ 💬クエスト名にあるように、ここからバレリーが一歩退きます。この件は刑事が引き継いだようです。
When the Poltergeist visit a location, strange things begin to happen. The evil spirit can move any item with no regard to its mass and can even turn a person upside down. One can only guess if it's the scenery of himself that's inverted. Poltergeist

コレクター		 確認、ポルターガイスト。カチカチ…、君がこれを聞いているという事は、シャドウ=シティにあの怪物が戻ってきたということであり、誰かが危機に瀕しているということだ…。カチカチ…、まずは武装したまえ。このような場合に備え…、カチカチ…、私は特別な武器を開発しておいた－プロトン･キャノンつまり「陽子砲」という、強力かつ危険な装置だ…。自らその仕組みを解明してみようなどとは決して思わぬことだ！… 💬どうやら、ポルターガイストの影響を受けたアイテムを確認すると自動的に壁が開く仕組みになってたみたいですね。コレクター、すごいです。
★Proton: 原子の中心にあるプラスの電荷を持つ陽子の事。陽子爆弾は空想の産物だが、イメージは核爆弾
💬おそらく電子を持たない裸の陽子をブラスターか何かで圧縮して打ち出すようなものなのでしょう。ポルターガイストがいなくなっても放射能だらけになりそうですが。

I've never heard of a Proton Cannon, but I trust the Collector. Where will the manual be hidden? We should look in his house and if we don't find it we'll ask the Gargoyles - they have sticky fingers. If anyone asks, say you're helping with the investigation. I'll even give you a search warrant. Meanwhile, I'll find out the location of this cannon. Detective

刑事		 プロトン･キャノン「陽子砲」なんて代物は聞いたことがないが、コレクターの能力は折り紙付きだ。マニュアルはどこに隠したんだ？彼の家を探して見つからなけりゃ、ガーゴイルどもに聞かにゃならんぞ－ヤツラは手癖が悪いからな。誰かに聞かれたら、捜査を手伝ってると言えよ。探索に正当な理由をやろうっていうんだ。お前が探してる間、俺はこのキャノンのある場所を突き止める。 trust: 行動・能力として信頼でき、任せられる(believe より重い)
💬コレクターは人物的にはクセがありそうですが、能力は信頼できますもんね。
search warrant: 通常は捜査令状だが、主人公は一般人なので令状は取れず、刑事にもそれを与える権限はない。刑事の言ってるのは比喩的な意味。
💬主人公がやってるのは不法侵入だからなんでしょうね。見逃してやるから手伝えって事で。
We've found the Manual. I think the Collector exaggerated it's complexity. Here are a couple of diagrams and a description of the security measures... Apparently, the Proton Cannon is a really powerful weapon. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything more about the trap itself. マニュアルを見つけたか。コレクターはコイツの構造の複雑さを大袈裟に言ってたんじゃないかと思うんだがな。ここにあるのは図面が一組と安全マニュアルか…。図面を見る限り、プロトン･キャノンってのはマジで強力な武器ではあるな。残念ながら俺の方は、このプロトン･キャノンとかいうトラップそのものについてはまだ何も分かってないんだが。 ★刑事の言うtrap はProton Cannonの事。呼称が一定していない。
💬いや、本当に陽子砲なら大袈裟でもなんでもないと思う。それ、一種の核爆弾じゃん。

Thanks, I feel better. I wasn't completely alone in that room. There ware different anomalies but I wasn't scared; amused more like. They made the routine days bearable. Then I was woken one night by a puff of wind and saw the door ajar! I ran out but when I turned around there was just a blank wall. I was both happy and scared, but I could go wherever I wanted!
