| Cardsharp has set up several gambling venues. Even though he keeps assuring everyone that what he's doing is for the good of the City, he doesn't fool me so easily. Over the course of my service I became convinced that places like that attract all sorts of ne'er-do-wells, responsible for the growing crime rates. This time no exception, though the murder of the Mayor was actually the work of normal citizens! We need to deal with the situation somehow and quickly. |

| I would jump right into the fray to restore order, but... When I was back in New York, where I came from, I had to fight the mafia, who were armed to the teeth. They shoot very rarely here in the City of Shadows, but they can easily curse you, bewitch you or give you the evil eye... Basically, there's no way to do it without preparing in advance. I'll need some relatively harmless devices to use on a crowd that is drunk with greed. A Tear Gas canister, for instance. |

秩序回復のためには騒ぎがあればにすぐにでも割って入りたいところだが…。ニューヨークにいた頃の話でな、つうか俺はそこから来たんだが、完全武装のマフィアと闘わにゃならんかったんだ。ここシャドウ=シティじゃあ発砲事件てのはほとんどないが、人に呪いをかけたり、魔法をかけたり、はたまた邪眼に睨(にら)まれたりってのはザラだからな。初歩的な話として、そういうのに対処するにゃ予(あらかじ)め準備をしとく他、道はないってこった。欲にまみれた連中に使っても比較的害のない道具がいくつか要るんだ。催涙弾、とかな。 |

| You think a Tear Gas canister won't be enough? I agree... I remember some relatively harmless troublemakers that were unarmed. We used to catch them in fishing nets and take them to the pier. The fresh, sea breeze did them the world of good. I'm mentioning this because as I looked through the catalogue, I saw that they'd already invented a Net Rifle for catching that sort of troublemaker. It would be really useful for me. |

| Now we've got a rather decent set of devices for combating criminals. What else can you offer from the standard set of defensive devices? An armoured jacket as body armour and a helmet for the head? Help me put all of this on and then put everything in the right pockets. I could do with a few magical artifacts as well. |
