Greetings! My name is Charles, Inspector Charles Dipp. This may sound
odd, but... could you tell me where I am? The other day I arrived in Cheshire to visit Angela Crowley. Have you heard of her? She's a famous author of detective novels. She told me she was gathering material for a new novel and wanted my advice on some of the mysteries she'd encountered. As soon as I arrived, I heard screams, shooting and pleas for help. Naturally I took out my Browning and rushed towards the gates of her estate to help. But then fog came out from behind the closed gates of the park, engulfing everything... I can't remember anything that followed, just a weird feeling. When the fog was gone I ended up here, right in front of you... Where am I? This is... no longer England, is it? |

As you said yourself, I'm an investigator in a dress, right? I think I'm close to finding this hiding place. What do you think I'll find in there? Crowley is linked to the new detective novel she was working on. I'm not
surprised considering the novel was about the events in New York that
led to the fall of the most powerful Mafia families. I think everybody knows this, but this story is remarkable because the mobsters managed to hide something very valuable before they got busted, and it's still there, undiscovered! Can you imagine? A secret Mafia hiding place! If Angela Crowley managed to get close to solving this riddle, it's no wonder she went missing. So many desperate daredevils have searched for the Mafia's secret hiding place, and so many others have tried to prevent this mystery from being solved. |

and I'll start speaking Italian. What were those old Cosa Nostra guys
trying to tell us? The note must have been written on sheet music paper for a reason. The mobsters' note also says that we can't let anyone see our guns. I think I know what they're talking about. In order to get through the dangerous underground area we're going to need guns, but we can't let anyone see them, which means we need to keep them in cases. And not just any cases, but musical instrument cases. Gangsters used to hide tommy guns and revolvers in them. If I'm right, we won't have to worry about sewer creatures and will be able to find the five families' secret hiding place with no trouble. |

I'm so disheartened... We've come a long way, and I'm very grateful for
your help in this investigation. But... finding this! On the one hand,
I'm happy Angela's alive. But I get a feeling of general unease when I
read that she ventured deeper into the City, to this House with Red
Windows after the scoundrel Lucaccio. What secret is hidden there? The
story of the City of Shadows, a portal to the outside world, marvelous
machines designed by the creator of this world... How I would've liked
to know that! I hope I can find Miss Angela again sooner rather than
