The ghosts say that a Golden Kiwano, which was being brought as a present for the Sultan, was among the things stolen. If you manage to find another one, they'll tell us where to find the ghost of Vasco Da Gama. However, I hope no idea what the Golden Kiwano looks like - I've never seen anything like that. So, will you take part in the search? |

海賊と称しているように、海賊さながらの略奪行為や、軍事力を背景とした強硬手段で海を支配していった。特にオスマン帝国の庇護下にあったイスラム商人との対立は顕著だった。 ★Sultan スルタン：アラビア語で皇帝の意。オスマン帝国の皇帝の事。スルタンはトルコ語での発音。英語での発音はサルタン。 ★Kiwano キワノ：アフリカ原産の果物。英語名ゴールデン･ホーンド･メロン(金のトゲトゲメロン)。橙色の果肉に楕円形のトゲトゲの外皮、もうみたまんまの名前。日本名はツノニガウリ。実際には結構最近の果物で、70年前にオーストラリアに持ち込まれ商品化された。15世紀にあったかはかなり怪しい…。キワノは実はニュージーランドの企業の商標名らしい。 |
