| Look, I found a mysterious cylinder hat that belonged to an illusionist at the Rapture Theater. There's an inscription at the bottom: "The truth is under the lining." Not literally, of course. I keep thinking about this riddle. Do you like sleight-of-hand magic tricks? In my youth I took part in a show of clairvoyants, illusionists and soothsayers, so I know how it all works. cylinder (hat): top hat(シルクハット)の別名。筒状をしてるから。円柱の事もcylinderと言う。silk
hatはtop hatのシルク製のモノの事なので、形状を言うなら普通はtop hatかcylinder illusionist: 手品師 lining: 裏地 ※ここでは比喩的に使われている of course: ここでは察するにくらいの意。※元の意味は普通に考えたら。裏地の下にあるのでは、まんま過ぎると言っている。 sleight of hand: 手先の小器用さ ※sleightの読みはスライトなので注意。sleight of handでしか使わない語。語源は古代ゲルマン語で狡(ずる)い |

| To make the hat "talk" we need to recreate a special trick of the illusionist who wore this cylinder. Then we'll be able to learn one of the Theater's secrets. But it can't be done without stage props. Look for the Rings of the Illusionist, it's the simplest trick. |
