《Parts or Components パーツとコンポーネンツ》 よく似た単語ではあるものの、一般的に使われるのはpartsの方で、時計とかのちっこい部品は通常 partsを使う。components は構成要素という意味で、車とかの部品のようにそれ一個でも何かの機能を持つ部品を指す。今回時計なのにcomponentsを使っているのは、集めるのが部品とは言い難い物ばかりだからだと思われる。 |
