The door to the dungeon was locked, and I couldn't open it. I heard someone whisper while standing on the stairs, and for a moment, I swear I saw the Detective lying in a pool of blood... It shows people the things they are most afraid of. I can banish it, but I need some things from the Fair: magical lanterns full of the City's white magic and kindness of its residents. | In order to defeat the spirit that frightened Juliette, we need to search the Fair for lanterns that the City's magic created to help any newcomers. For a start, look for a golden Portable Lamp: its light scares away evil beings. You can easily recognise it by its elegant form and delicate lemon yellow light. |

I opened the dungeons with the enchanted keys and illuminated the stairs
with the magic vial. At the moment, the lamps on the stairs lit up again
and the Dark Horror disappeared without a trace. However, before
disappearing it showed me my parents, who I've never seen: they were
exactly as I had imagined them, but they were looking at me with such
coldness and contempt! It's a good thing the Horror is gone. How did it
end up in the Manor in the first place? What dark secrets in the
dungeons summoned it? I hope, and fear, that we'll discover the answer soon. |
