| As you know, I've been looking through the old files of the Legendary Detective, the former resident of the Secret Room. After examining every inch of his home, I didn't find a single clue about his personality. Until today. Frankly, I was beginning to doubt that he even existed. 論理学での演繹(えんえき)法：ここでは推理と訳しているが、分かっている事から推論して行って結論を導き出す論理法で普通の推理や数学の計算はこちら。deductは控除するという意味で、無駄を排除して一つの結論に至る方法ということ。刑事の口癖の一つ。 逆がinduction(帰納法)で特殊な事例から一般論を引き出す論理法。数学の証明とかに使われる。一つの事例からそれを広げていって全体に当てはまる法則を見付けるやり方。リンゴが落ちるのを見て万有引力を見付けるとかいうのがinduction |

探偵の足取りを探すためには、隠しスペースから出て来た手紙の内容を読む必要がある訳か。だがどうやってその文字を見える様にする？フーム…。私にちょっと考えがあるんだが、君の協力が必要なんだ。 | ★炙り出し：果物の汁が有名だが、砂糖水や牛乳でも炙り出しができる。牛乳や砂糖、果物の汁は紙よりも熱に対する感応度が高い(低い温度で焦げる)ので、水分が蒸発すると紙より先に焦げて色が変わる。紙は燃えやすいイメージがあるが、発火点は意外と高く450℃。例えば砂糖は160℃で焦げるので紙より先に黒くなる。実は塩は熱に強く焦げないので塩水では炙り出しができない。(塩の融点は800℃、沸点は1400℃) |

失踪した伝説の探偵の足取りを追っていたら、美しいレディの肖像写真に行き着いた。どうやら彼はこの女性を探しに向かったっぽいな。シリンダーのモンタージュ写真を回転させたら、短文の手紙が出て来たんだ、手紙は、とあるＮ嬢が護衛を必要としてて飛行船の傍でお会いしたいという文で始まってる。だがシティには飛行船なんてないぜ。もしかしてコードネームとかなのか？どう思う、相棒？ |
💬このクエストが追加されたのが2019年4月で、飛行船がアッパーシティからやって来たのが2019年9月だから、この話は飛行船の予告編になってたんだな。 まさかと思うけど、コレクターが副業で探偵をしてたとか言わないよね？ |
