going to continue looking for the one who kidnapped Salem and almost
brought trouble to our City. A previous investigation led us to the
conclusion that the Halloween entourage could've been angry with Jack,
as his carelessness led to the Priest's death. Perhaps one of them was
behind Salem's abduction. Martha has suggested a way to check it. I think I know your answer, but I'll still ask: are you with me? |

allegiance: 国家や君主に対する忠誠 wouldn't want to~: (自分だったら)~はしたくないもんだ。wouldn't は婉曲と同時に自分だったらのニュアンスが含まれる that's for sure: 直前に言った事を肯定して「間違いない、確かにな」という時使う。日本語訳とその直前の文は意訳。 on my guard: 用心して keep me posted: 「進捗を教えて」と要請するときの言い方 💬王室に渦巻く陰謀ですか…、ワクワク。確かに刑事の領分というより、探偵の仕事ですね(笑)。主人公が珍しくbuddyと刑事を呼んでます。 |
