★mandrake マンドレイク：別名マンドラゴラ。根が太くたまに人間の様な形のものがある。根は胃潰瘍の薬になる。 ★immortelle イモーテル：フランス語で意味は不死。乾燥しても色褪せないことなどからそう呼ばれるらしい。乾燥させた花は肝臓･腎臓の薬になる。カレー粉の様な匂いがするのでcurry plantとも呼ばれるが、カレー粉の材料ではない。 ★mountain ash ななかまど：非常に堅くとても燃えにくい。赤い実がなる。寒くてもよく育つので日本では北海道の街路樹でも見かける樹。腎臓病、糖尿病、関節炎などに効能がある。 |
