but such attention to him in the City Library intrigued me. And not in
vain! I found a book that was published with just 5 copes! Not
surprisingly, this book is the most interesting. |

| I soon realized
I needed to show the book to you and Isabelle. There is a detailed
description of an anomaly called Electrum: effects, summoning,
dispelling. However, we'll need a lot of equipment and I've no idea
where to get it. Let's copy the name and ask... the Conductor. I think
he's the only one who'd understand what's what. We need a Tesla
Generator and a Lightning Rod. |

★解説：二コラ=テスラは現在の発電システムの根幹となった交流発電機の生みの親。更に高圧発電機であるテスラコイルを発展させ、地球まるごと無線で送電できるというトンデモないシステム(World

system)まで構想していたものの資金難に会い断念。でも、テスラの構想なら理論上は可能だったのでは？と思えてしまうような人でもある。WWSのシステム理論はあまりに危険だったために、テスラの死後FBIが秘密裏に接収したとかいう都市伝説まである。

| The Electrum
Anomaly is closely related to the inventions of Nikola Tesla. It's one
of the most dangerous phenomena in the City, but luckily it's very rare.
Within the anomaly's range, the air is electrified to a high degree and
anyone near could be electrocuted, but you have a bit of time before a
powerful discharge reduces you to ash. The anomaly can be summoned using
the Tesla Generator, and dispelled with the Lightning Rod. |
