it slams in front of~: ここでの意味は、扉が門前払いを食わせる、あるいはデーンと扉が構えている ※文字通りだと扉がバーンと音を立てて閉まるだが、扉が開かない事を話しているので比喩的に使われている。似た表現でslam the door in your face がある。 I admit that~: 主人公の相槌が全部は出て来ないので分かりにくいが、I admitという時は、相手にその質問をされたか、相手が予想してるだろうと思っているときに「ああ、そうだよ」という意味で使う。 |

💬何故ここでいきなりドアキーパー？と思ったんですが、ドアキーパーって事はドアを開けるプロでもあるって言いたいんでしょう。 登場人物の前後はともかく、こういう経緯でコレクターの扉は喋る様になったっていうお話でした。 |
