穴を掘る者、穴掘り屋。正式な職業名などではなく、ちょっと揶揄(やゆ)的な響きのある呼び名。diggerと聞いて英語で連想されるのは「金」と「墓」。 ※2021年まではモンスター名がDiggersと複数形でした。おそらく基本的には集団で行動しているからでしょう。 Want me to~: Do you want me to~のラフバージョン。～して欲しいかい？ |

| The Diggers are... a kind of sect. A long time ago, a group of citizens left to explore the dungeons and never returned. They stayed down there. They're still alive and spend their time creating new passages and exploring the other side of the City. They flatly refuse to contact the others. I wonder what he'll do if we try to return the flare to him? |

穴掘り屋と言うのは…ある種のセクト、つまり、独立した特殊な社会を形成している者たちなんだ。大昔にとある市民のグループがダンジョンを探索しようシティを離れた、そして戻ってこなかったのさ。彼らはずっと地下に潜ったままなんだ。未だに活動し続けていて、ひたすら新しい通路を作り、シティの裏側を探索している。彼らは他人との接触を一様(いちよう)に拒んでいるんだ。もしこの発炎筒を彼らに敢えて返そうとしてみたら、一体彼らはどうするだろうかな？ |

| Diggers were once Dungeon Explorers. Immortal and indifferent, these silent beings lost their souls to the dungeons centuries ago. Frozen in time, they are cursed to wander the dungeons forever. Occasionally they ascend to the surface to trade rare items found in the City Dungeons for flares. |

穴掘り屋とは、かつてダンジョンの探索者だった者たちのなれの果てである。命の限りもなく、何への執着もなく、この物言わぬ生き物は、何世紀も前にその魂をダンジョンで失ってしまったのだ。凍りついた時間の中で、かけられた呪いのために彼らは永遠にダンジョンを彷徨(さまよ)っている。時折、発炎筒を求めて地上に姿を現し、シティのダンジョンで見つけた稀(まれ)なるアイテムと交換してくれる。 | ★Diggers:
