| Unusual pieces of jewelry featured in great love stories have been appearing at the Pier for several days. They were all given by great rulers to their loved ones. Perhaps they are gifts for Lady Peacock. Wow, maybe the Captain is trying to contact her from Avalon? Shall we help Lady Peacock receive a message from her beloved? |

有名なラブ･ストーリーに纏わる珍しいジュエリーがここ何日か桟橋(さんばし)に現れ始めたんだ。どれも大層な支配者たちが愛する者に贈った品だぜ。レディー=ピーコックへの贈り物かもしれないな。おお、もしかしたら大尉がアヴァロンから彼女にメッセージを送ろうとしてるんじゃないか？レディー=ピーコックが恋人からのメッセージを受け取れるように手を貸してやらないか？ |
jewelry: 宝石入りの(大きい)アクセサリー。いわゆる「ジュエリー」。小さいとtrifle (小間物)とか呼ばれてしまう。 ★Avalon: アーサー王伝説に登場する伝説の島。Case №29でレディー=ピーコックの恋人、大尉はなぜかアヴァロンへ旅立ってしまって現在もそのまま。 |

| I've consulted with Martha: if we collect all the gifts, she will summon a message from the Captain for Lady Peacock. First, we need to find Cleopatra's Pearl. According to legend, it was presented to her by Marc Antony in a glass of wine. A strange wrapping for a gift, isn't it? The pearl must still be in the Pier. Look for it there. |

| The next gift that we need for receiving Lady Peacock's message from the Captain is the crown of Josephine Bonaparte. If Napoleon hadn't bestowed a title on his wife, she wouldn't have become empress after the revolution. Look for the crown on the Pier. |
