Everyone thinks this letter is someone's trick or my own practical joke. But I believe it. You see, there exists such a seal in the form of a Dragon's eye. It seems to me, the eye sometimes comes to life and looks at us... I'm worried about the City's treasure... I mean, for the City's residents. We must do something about it! I'm not sure that this text is cause for real alarm because many prophecies don't have literal interpretations. But the time it speaks of is the New Year on the Eastern calendar, and it's approaching. If the prophecy speaks about a dragon according to Eastern understanding, then nothing bad is threatening the City of Shadows. In China, the dragon is a universally respected, strong and wise creature. However, there's too much coincidence: warning signs have appeared everywhere, the Cardsharp's manuscript, and the most serious thing - a ghostly Eastern Temple, which many citizens have seen, but nobody can say for certain where it is. The temple, that appeared in the City of Shadows, is from Shangri-La - A place of eternal life, where there is no death, just a long sleep, the peacefulness of this place is deceptive as a lot of secrets regarding ancient magic are hidden under the roofs of the beautiful pagodas. We're finally at the temple. Look, there are pagodas, a small park, a pond with a bridge and several temple sculptures; as if we've found ourselves in China. And here's the dragon, only it's... a statue. Did the Cardsharp cause all this commotion over a statue? Even so, coincidences make me uneasy. The Cardsharp found a prophecy and then the City opened the temple to us, plus all the events connected to the dragon. It gives me a reason to take notice of the clues in the manuscript... Let's look around and find out what's inside this temple and who is looking after it. The Chinese Dragon is not the bloodthirsty and greedy creature the Cardsharp is afraid of. If we're waiting for some kind of trouble from the Eastern Dragon, which the statue in the yard represents, then something is likely to be seriously wrong in the upper spheres. It's entirely possible that we'll find something incredible in the temple. My friend, we have to find out who this temple is dedicated to. Intuition tells me that the dragon statue at the entrance, and the Cardsharp's prophecy are somehow connected. In the City of Shadows, such coincidences aren't accidental. Find something that indicates where in the City this temple came from. What a find! It's a Buddhist prayer wheel. Look how it hovers in the air by itself! It obviously couldn't do that without magic. Excellent. You found the Zodiac. You can see here that each year, one of the zodiac animals becomes the main animal. They follow each other in sequence, and the dragon is one of them. I must admit, the Cardsharp appears to be right. The City is full of signs of the dragon's appearance. We've looked around the temple and it seems that the beast truly sleeps here. Every time I immerse myself into the world of oriental traditions, I find something new. Some time ago their fans caught my eye. It turns out that the Chinese believe the fan is a powerful talisman that can turn the course of events towards a favorable direction. It's recommended to hang them on the wall in the house when things are not going well. I think you can create an interesting charm by writing spells on the fan, like lyrical poems or New Year's Eve songs. I'll then write the text of the spell on the fan, whilst you bring me a few City artifacts to turn the energy towards a successful outcome.
