I was hoping to find Mr. Black in his office, but it turned out to be empty. There was only - what's it called - a leaflet on the desk.		ブラック長官がオフィスにいるのを期待してたんじゃが、行ってみたらもぬけの殻じゃったし。机の上にあったのはアレだけで－あー、なんちゅうたかな－ああリーフレットじゃ。

Many years ago, monsters were expelled from the City. How were they able to return? We have to neutralize the beasts before they get to the people. The Movie Theater is where the monsters are coming from, and the leaflet from Mr. Black's desk is from there too... We need to go to the Capuchin Movie Theater. Hmm, the Movie Theater's door are closed, but for some reason all the windows are wide open, and more and more monsters are dashing out of them. It seems the Movie Theater is the monsters' main den after all. The City has been flooded with monsters - gargoyles, werewolves, and ghosts... The citizens are in a panic - the monsters were expelled many years ago, and now they're suddenly wreaking panic and chaos again. The monsters surged from the Capuchin Movie Theater, which was only recently freed from the fog. What secrets does the mysterious Movie Theater hold? The leaflet found on the missing Mr. Black's desk turns out to be an invitation to the Movie Theater's White Hall for a grand premiere. Where did the monsters come from, and where did the people go? Will exploring the mysterious White Hall give us answers to these questions? Goal: Explore the White Hall. This is it, the White Hall indicated in the invitation. Hmm, a massive chair is blocking the door from the outside, as if it's holding someone inside. Maybe the Capuchins keep prisoners there? Let's move the chair aside, just be careful.	Vera ヴェラ	あった、これだ、招待状で指定されてたホワイト･ホールだ。 くそ、厳つい椅子が外側から扉を塞いでるぞ、如何にも誰かを中に閉じ込めてますって感じだな。もしかするとそのキャピュシン夫妻ってのが捕まえた奴らをここで足止めしてんのか？よし、椅子を脇にどかそうぜ、但し気を付けろよ。
Watch out! A huge gargoyle burst from the White Hall. Now it's clear why the door was blocked by a chair. Where did the gargoyle come from? We need to go inside. Stay alert - it seems that this hall isn't arranged like the rest.		危ない！どでかいガーゴイルがホワイト･ホールから飛び出して来たぞ。なるほど、扉が椅子でブロックされてた理由がこれではっきりしたな。あのガーゴイルは何処からやって来たんだ？中に入る必要があるな。警戒を解くなよ－どうやらこのホールは他のとは勝手が違いそうだぜ。

My flashlight died and the emergency lighting here is too week. A blank screen flickers at the other end of the hall, but I still don't see the audience anywhere - only monsters. Let's get to the screen. Wait! I stepped on... glasses? Let's examine them.	Vera ヴェラ	私の懐中電灯は電池切れだし、ここの非常灯は暗すぎる。ホールの向こう端で何も映ってないスクリーンが明滅してるってのに、観客は何処にも見当たらないぜ－モンスターしかいないじゃないか。あのスクリーンの前まで行くぞ。 待て！何か踏んだ…眼鏡か？調べてみるか。	💬ここはロケーションシーンと違って、ホールの後ろに入口があるんですね？後ろから入って来て真正面にスクリーンがあるみたいです。
These are polarized glasses that add more volume to the picture on the screen. And there are several pair of them - it seems the movie shown in this hall did start, but then the monsters appeared and scared everyone away... Ah! A werewolf flashed past me. Hmm, why didn't he attack us?		こいつはスクリーンの映像に厚みを持たせるための偏光グラスだぜ。まだいくつかある－どうやらこのホールの映画はもう始まってたっぽいな、だがその後モンスターが現れたせいでみんな逃げちまったと…。うぉっ！狼男が私の前を横切ったぞ。んん、なんでこっちを攻撃してこなかったんだ？

This hall is so dark. Getting to the screen is harder than I thought. I just slipped on something... It looks like spilled popcorn. Let's collect it for analysis. I have a hunch about what happened here. I suspected that the Capuchins had added some sedative to the popcorn to put Black to sleep and leave the audience unprotected when the monsters burst out. But I checked the popcorn - the only additive in it is salt. More and more monsters are appearing in the hall, but I can't understand where they're coming from. The darkness doesn't help clarify the situation either. Maybe you can help me turn on these strange side spotlights? They'll distract the monsters while we rush to the end of the hall. We turned the spotlights' power to maximum, but unfortunately, the monsters didn't react to them. We almost made it to the end of the hall, but be careful - there are more and more monsters coming. Wait... Is it me or...? Did this monster just get stuck in a chair? It did! There's only a paw sticking out. Let's examine it while the monster is immobilized.	Vera ヴェラ	なんとかもう少しでホールの端まで辿り着けそうだな、でも気を付けろよ－次から次へとモンスターが湧いて来てるぞ。 待て…。私の気のせいか…？モンスターが椅子にハマってんのか？そうなんだな！前足だけが突き出てるぜ。モンスターが嵌(はま)って動けなくなってるうちにあの前足を調べるぞ。	is it (just) me or...?: そう思うのは私だけ？私の気のせいか？ immobilized: 固定された、嵌って動けなくなった
The monster's paw turned out to be an illusion! Just like all the other monsters... I suspected it, but these beasts were just too realistic. Well, illusions can't harm us, so we can examine the hall and figure out where the monsters came from without hiding from them.		調べてみたらモンスターの前足はなんと幻影じゃないか！他のモンスターも全部そうみたいだな…。薄々そんな気はしてたんだが、この化け物たちがあんまりにもリアルなもんだから分かんなかったぜ。まあいい、幻影ならこちらに手出しは出来ないんだから、もうコソコソ隠れる必要もないだろ、つまりはこのホールを調べてモンスターが湧いて来る場所を割り出せるってこった。	※~were just too realistic (to rearize it): ()部分を補って訳した

Where can illusions in a movie theater come from? From the screen, of course. It seems empty though. Maybe you're supposed to look at it through special glasses? Please bring me some tools - I'll fix the polarized glasses I stepped on and look at the screen.	Vera ヴェラ	映画館内で幻影が発生するとしたら何処だ？そりゃあ、スクリーンだろうな。つってもなーんも映ってなさそうに見えるが。ひょっとして特殊な眼鏡を通してみないとダメなのか？頼む、いくつか道具を持って来てくれ－私が踏んづけた例の偏光グラスを修理してスクリーンを見てみるから。
I fixed the polarized glasses and looked at the silver screen. Through the glasses, I can see the images of monsters moving on it, coming out of the screen from time to time and becoming real. What a trouble! Without the glasses, the screen appears blank.		偏光グラスを修理してあのスクリーンを見てみたんだ。この眼鏡を通すと、モンスターの動く映像が見える、スクリーンから次から次へと出て来て、実体化していくぞ。なんだこりゃ！眼鏡を外すと、スクリーンは真っ白になるぜ。
So the monsters are illusions from the screen. But how do we stop them? The panicking citizens won't believe that they're just projections.	Carlos Light カルロス=ライト	つまりモンスターはスクリーンから出て来た幻影だという事か。じゃが、どうやってあれを止める？恐慌状態に陥っている街の人間たちは、あれがただの立体映像だと言ったところで信じようとはせんじゃろう。
